Another week...

is passing by at mach speed and before you know it I will be on a plane heading to Orlando for CHA. I love heading off to these trade shows... not only do I get to see all of the yummy new products being released but I get to see some of my dearest friends who I really only get to see a couple of times a year. I will be working at Prima again this time so if you are there... be sure to stop by! I would LOVE to see you:) Without a doubt, Prima will have some amazing new releases and I am looking forward to seeing them up close and personal... PLUS! I love the crew from Prima... an amazing group of people who are always so much fun to hang with! It should be a great week:)

But I will also be popping over to the Tattered Angels booth quite a bit! I am so fortunate to be on their design team. They truly are an amazing company to be associated with and the girls simply ROCK! So I completed my first batch of assignments last week (on time too... phew!) and while waiting for my second box of goodies from them I began to play with their brand new Chip Tiles and Bingo Cards as well as the new fall colors of Glimmer Mist. The project I finished up has thrilled me to bits and I am pretty certain that it has become one of my favourites thus far:) Here is a little sneak peek and if you want to see more, head on over to the Tattered Angels Blog. Not only is this project featured today but if you scroll though, you will see some great new samples by the design team and another fabulous contest. Be sure to check it out HERE!!!

Okay... so that's about it for today. I have a lot to do on the home front... gotta get caught up on that monstrous pile of laundry!!!!!!!

Happy scrapping all!

OH YEAH... Scrapbooking Garage Sale HERE... my HOUSE this weekend! Lots of goodies and class kits available at a GREAT rate! Email me at trisha.lado@gmail.com for more details!

July is going to be a FABULOUS month!

So many things are happening or about to happen and I can't wait to share all of the details with you! First up...

SCRAPTIVITY

I have the privilege of being their Guest Designer this month! Yup! They have a fabulous kit club full of yummy product and I LOVED playing with it this week to create my project:) The theme was encapsulation so I tried a couple of fun things... first, I used the letter packaing to form a memorabelia holder on my layout and then I used Glossy Accents to encapsulate letters within a seashell. Kind of cool, eh? Well... maybe no but it is different! What I also LOVED about this kit is that I got to use products by other manyfacturers that I would not typically use. With my class schedule so insane, I rarely have time to use goodies by companies other than who I teach for and it always disappoints me... but this time I DID get to play and I love the results! Be sured to check the Scraptivity website out for more details on this fabulous Kit Club:)

Here are some more pics of my first project... stay tuned as I create a few more goodies this month!
I should also mention that the owners of Scraptivity, Barb and Tony, have invited me to come and teach at their brick and mortar store "BIZZY B'S" in September out in Toronto! I will doing several classes that you are sure to love and the amazing Jackie Ludlage of Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine will be joining me! Can you say SUPER FUN WEEKEND ahead?! I will be posting the details on that event soon so keep checking back for the details as they are all finalized!!! Here is a pic that I treasure from CHA this past January in Anaheim. We had so much fun (in fact too much fun according to my other pics;) but this one is relatively tame so I thought I would share it with you! Wanna see how crazy we can get? Be sure to join us at Bizzy B's September 18-20, 2009!

Okay... so you want to know about some other cool things this month? Well, CHA is always cool!

I did not think I would be going this time as it is in Orlando and well... I just did not see it happening this time. I was WRONG! Prima called me a couple of weeks ago and asked me to come back to be a part of the show with them! As always, I was thrilled and look forward to a fabulous week with the amazing group of people who make up this super cool company! While at the show, I also look forward to seeing so many of my friends and and colleagues and hopefully we have a chance to catch up a wee bit! Prima's booth is AWAYS busy at CHA as everyone knows that there will be some amazing products! Be sure to stop by and say HI if you are there... I would LOVE to see ya:)

Next up... TATTERED Angels! There is a cool giveaway going on over on their blog! You need to go and check it out there:) You could be one of the first to get a set of the NEW Winter colors in their BRAND NEW bottles! Check it out here...

While there, be sure to scroll through some of the more recent posts as we are posting some sneak peeks using some of the FABULOUS new products that will make their debut at CHA in a couple of weeks and hit a store near you in the very near future! I should also mention that we have a GREAT Fan page on Facebook so be sure to hook us up and we will keep you up to date on all the latest and greatest in the Tattered Angels World:)

This week, I have completed 2 mini albums and an altered item that I will be sharing on the Tattered Angels blog soon! The altered item is actually one of the Glimmer Kit boxes that has been covered with Graphic 45 papers and Tattered Angels Glimmer Chips and Glimmer Glass embellishments and oodles of Glimmer Mist (of course!)

There are still a few things I want to do with this project just to take it to the next level (ay ay ay!) but that is okay... I will share this sneak peek for now and you will see the rest of it soon!

Speaking of Graphic 45... you all know how much I LOVE their papers and embellishments! I have used quite a few of their collections over the past few months in various classes around the globe so I was undoubtedly thrilled when they mentioned that they had chosen be to be their spotlighted artist this week! Be sure to check out their blog... it should be up sometime on Friday, July 3...

What else.......... hmmmmmmmmmm! Well, as far as work stuff is concerned, that is probably it for now. EXCEPT for that My Mind`s Eye FINALLY has a BLOG! You need to check that out too AND there are a tonne of giveaways so enjoy the bits of eye candy there!

I plan on doing a whole lot of scrapping today so stay tuned for some more fun projects over the next few days!

Have a GREAT weekend!

OH! It has been awhile I guess since I last posted...

Where has the time gone this past month... WOW! It has just flown by!

Well, things have been a little hectic as I have again been busy with classes and projects. It seems never endingsomedays but I amnot complaining! I still think I am one of the luckiest people I know and feel so fortunate to share my projects with peoplelike you! So where did my most recent adventure take me.... why to Saskatoon,Saskatchewan of course!

I am honoured to have been asked back by Ralna and Deb for the third time this past year to their fun store...Just Scrap It. I always have a tonne of fun with the ladies there and hopefully they all enjoyed themselves in my classes as well!

not sure why this pic is upside down...

We started off the weekend on Friday evening with the Escape album featuring primarily Graphic 45 papers and embellishments and a few other goodies throughout. This was the project I originally designed for the Alaska cruise I recently taught on with OhMy Crafts! We played with paints and Glimmer Mist as we customized this fun little mini album and oddly enough (for me anyways) there was not a single flower or piece of bling anywhere to be seen in this project! This classwasdefinitley a hit and I look forward to sharing it with others soon!

Saturday,we started the day with the FAMILY canvas featuring the goodness of My Minds Eye Papers, Riff Raff Designs and Tattered Angels with a few Prima Flowers thrown in for good measure!

Then it was time for the much anticipated...

CANVAS ALBUM by Prima:) This is a new album designed by Donna Downey and what a treat it is to alter the canvas pages and Prima flowers with paints and Glimmer Mist as we did in this class! The ladies finished the day with a great keepsake in which they could customise the title of it to suit their needs:) We learned allkinds of fun thingstodowiththisalbum and I am pretty confident everyonehad a fab time! What a fun project and hopefully it sparked plenty of ideas to carry on and create another!

So, what is next... TREASURED MEMORIES! Tonite infact:) Tonite I am teaching the Trinkets and Treasures Envelope album and without a doubt, it will be a great time! I do not think there are any spots left but you can call (780)414-1540 and put your name on for a kit if you are interested!

Other than that, that is just about it! I have tonnes of prep work to do as I just confirmed that I DO get to go to CHA again:) I was starting to think I may have to sit this one out and then Prima invited me along again:) I also have a tonne of samples to prep using the latest and greatest from Tattered Angels as their first shipment of CHA goodies arrived yesterday with another to follow soon! My Minds Eye will be arriving soon too and I cannot wait to get my hands on that!!! yummmmmmy! So if you are looking for me in the next few weeks, dig beneath the mounds of papers and embellies...lol!

OH! And stay tuned for details on my Scrapbook Garage Sale! I have it tentatively planned for July 16-18... its time to clear out the old and make way for the new! YUP! There will plenty of kits and other goodies available for a GREAT rate:)

On the other side of the Big Pond...

The Netherlands is where I had the privilege of visiting most recently thank you to my dear friend Carla, owner of Simpel-Scrappen in Den Helder, Holland. Without a doubt, this was one of my most amazing travel experiences thus far. It is no secret that I LOVE to travel and I love just about every destination but there is something magical about Europe. YUP! The history, the architecture, the culture, the people. There is nothing else like it. Although my visit was too short, Carla was kind enough to play tour guide and share with me some of her beautiful country in the short week I was there.

After picking me up Thursday morning at the Amsterdam Airport, Carla took me back to her beautiful little city. On out way she even stopped to see a real windmill built in the 1600's! I am having trouble uploading those pics for some reason so you will have to use your imagination but trust me when I tell you that it is super cool! The one thing I found really neat is how there are so many canals and waterways throughout Holland. The above photo was taken in Den Helder early in the morning and I think it looks so pretty:)
Anyways, after dropping my stuff at the store, we went to Carla's mother's home where she was a wonderful hostess (thanks again!) We enjoyed a fabulous barbeque as relaxed in her lovely garden. Carla's sister Sonya joined us too! It was great seeing her again:)Carla and her mother were cooking up a storm. Unfortunately, after travelling all those miles and with the jet lag, I had to crash by 8pm and I slept a full 10 hours!!!! That was good though as i was able to switch my clock over relatively easy this time:)

Anyways, Friday morning we headed into her store so I could begin to prepare. Another lovely shot of a canal started my day! After I organized my class stuff, I took off to explore her little shopping district. LOTS of fun there:) I loved the quaint little shops in the marketplace. All of te buildings were so much different from here in North America. I could have spents days exploring but alas, I only had a few hours. I did thoroughly enjoy myself though! I love to explore new places at my own pace and fortunately I found my way back to her store without getting lost! I had wandered further tan I realized though...lol!
Anyways, over the course of the weekend, I taught several classes to Carla's wonderful customers. These are a couple of pics from the Family Canvas class using predominantly My Mind's Eye and Tattered Angels goodies with a touch of Prima and Riff Raff Designs goodies thrown in for good measure:) It was a tight squeeze throughout the weekend as the classes were at maximum capacity but we managed just fine. Thank you to ALL the ladies that came out to participate. I hope you enjoyed yourself as much as I did!

Anyways, after our classes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we went back to the adorable little beach house that Carla rented for us to stay in for the weekend:)
Her friends Claudia and Karin stayed with us too and it made for a FABULOUS girls weekend! So many laughs and giggles... these girls were a riot! I still get a grin when I think of some of our craziness that weekend:) You girls totally rocked and I feel so lucky to have been able to stay with them there rather than in a lonely hotel... it truly made for a GREAT weekend! Thanks again:)

By the end of the weekend, we were both exhausted but that did not last long as we were heading into Amsterdam for the day Monday! We woke bright and early and boarded the train for a day of adventure.

I knew that as soon as I stepped off te train I was in for an incredible day! The architecture is what caught my attention at first. STUNNING! Each building is a work of art... something that we do not see here on this side of the pond as we obviously do not go back in time as far. It's unbelievable to me that they could construct such phenomenal buildings without the so- called technology of today. They truly were craftsmen back in those days and their structures are standing proof:)
So while exploring the sights of Amsterdam, Carla ensured that I got to play tacky tourist on occasion too... hence the lovely pic of us in this big wooden shoe! Getting in was fine, but getting out required some assistance...lol!
Then we went into a few shops and imagine my surprise when I entered an entire store filled with wodden clogs! WOW! I was surprised to learn that they are not just for decoration and people apparently still wwear tem today (usually when working on the farms). Interesting... I wonder how comfy they are....

Karin, Carla and CLaudia were troopers and let me stop in all the fun little shops that caught my eye but were sweet enough to make sure I saw as many of the hidden little jewels that this amazing city had to offer too. Carla too us to this beautiful little closed in cluster of houses that used to be similar to a convent (but the ladies living there did not take their vows... they just serviced the church). It was such a peaceful gem in the midst f the hustle and bustle of massive city.

I could have sat in there with a good book and coffee all afternoon had there have been more time. Buyt alas, there was not... so much to do in so little time so out we went to explore again.

We walked miles and miles that day I am sure but the one thing that blew my mind was the sheer number of bicycles in Amsterdam! Everywhere you looked, bicycles were being ridden, they were parked along every street in mass quantities. I had a giggle when I saw a gorgeous gal dressed in a beautiful dress, high heels, etc was riding a bike, weaving in and out of traffic while on a cell phone. CRAZY!!! People thought driving a car while talking on a phone is dangerous... well, let me tell you... that is nothing in comparrison!!! LOL!

I did not end up doing a lot of purchasing while there. With the exchange, things were extremely expensive and I really did not need a lot. I did enjoy checking out some of the shops and to all my stamper frineds, you would have LOVED this little store. It was picture perfect... hidden on a little street in Amsterdam full of some beautiful goods:)

The one thing I did treat myself to though was a Pandora bracelet. I went on a hunt to get it started and thanks to Claudia, Karin and Carla, I found one and bought a plethora of beads to get it started. My goal is to add a bead (charm) with each trip that I take as a souvenir of my travels. I back dated it one trip as that is when I first started really looking into one. So I bought the blue flower as a token from Alaska and ten the tulip for Holland, and several other beads to get it rolling. The girls bought me a beautiful hand painted bead tat works wonderfully on it too and that set the colour scheme for this bracelet (blue and green:). Once I fill this one, I will add another and another and another...lol! Don't tell Drew though... they are pretty expensive and when you add them up... oUCH but it is worth it... better than a bunch of cheap dorky tshirts that you will never wear, right?!

It's not as easy of a decision as one would think but fortunately, everyone had patience with me as I decided:)So many beautiful choice... it was tough to decide!
Oh well... after awhile I made my decision and made my purchase and walked out of te jewelery store a very happy girl!

Then it was time to take a bit of a break. We decided a snack and drink were in order so we found a fab outdoor seating area serviced by multiple pucs and restaurants, etc. Here we sat, having a drink and snack while people watching a taking a bit of a break!

Those of you that know me know I like my girlie drinks but cocktails are not readily available in Europe:( I even tried beer... their beer and I am sorry to say I did not like it but I did try it so I am getting better at stepping outside my little comfort zone...lol! My kids would be proud...hahahah.
Oh well, we had a nice break, enjoyed some yummy food and drinks and had a blast people watching and just hanging out. What a cool life it would be to be able to do this regularly...aaaaahhhhhhh!

And I know yo are DYING to know... Amsterdam is notorious for their naughty side... for lack of a better teerm. Now I have always considered myself pretty liberal being from Canada and all but WOW! Even I was shocked a few times...lol! Coffee shops do NOT sell coffee... NOPE! No fancy cappucinos there... I will get to all of that later but there were a few that were not only in the Red Light District.

Okay, so then we took in a few more of the sights as we headed towoard one of the places to get on the boat for a canal tour. With all of those canals throught this massive city, I was looking forward to sitting and exploring from a different vantage point.

So we boarded one of these lovely canal boats and set sail for an hour long tour of a few of canals that make up Amsterdam. It was so nice and relaxing... just what the doctor ordered after a long day of walking all over the place:)

One cool thing I did not know about Amsterdam... there are over 1000 bridges in that city. Interesting, eh?

Apparently, this is the most popular bridge in Amsterdam and definitely the most photgraphed too. Again, something I did not know prior to going there so I am glad that I took yet another photo of such a famous bridge. Now I have to go and find out the name...lol! If anyone can help me, that would be great!
I had to take a pic of that car... thought it looked so cool:)
It was so peaceful out on the canals... I really enjoyed it.
Another cool sight on our journey:)

And then............. it was time! Oh yeah:) The famous RED LIGHT DISTRICT... I did not know what to expect. I had heard a few things so had at least prepared myself a bit. On the surface it just about looked lke any other street in Amsterdam.
It was a beautiful tree lined canal with shops and flats overlooking it. Not road persay... only foot traffic and the odd bike or scooter which was noice. It allowed for a nice leisurely stroll:)

UNTIL... you looked in the windows. Girls of all sapes and sizes with their "red light" on if they were open for business. Some were beautiful others were nasty but I guess there is someone for everyone...lol! Prostitution is legal in Amsterdam and seeing as this is the worlds' oldest profession... who am I to judge? What pleased me was that there are not the pimps and drug abuse associated with these working gals so that has to be an advantage. Anyways... not for me but I am not in their shoes and it's not up to me to pass judgement on them:) It was definitely interesting...
It came time to say goodbye to Claudia and Karin. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know these gals. They truly were a highlight of my trip to Holland. So many great memories from our weekend together that will always put a little smile on my face:) Thanks girls for making it a trip to remember! After we said goodbye... Carla and I walked through the Red Light District a little more...

Moulin Rouge is apparently a very famous venue. Live sex shows everyday (multiple times a day) by a married couple (the same married couple... did I mention multiple times..... EVERYDAY???!!!) OMG! Again... who am I to judge???!!! LOL!The coffee shops were busy all night long and NO I did not go in to try it out. Thanks but no thanks!

It was pretty though... as the sun began to set and the lights came on... it really was a pretty place. I liked it... XXX and all:)Carla and I finished off our day and a nice little sidewalk cafe type of place with a glass of wine people watching and enjoying a bit of a rest. That is until the wind picked up out of nowhere and raindrops the size of water balloons began to fall from the sky! Oh yeah!!!! we had to run (and I do mean RUN!!!!) to the train station to get our train back to Den Helder. Needless to say, we got a wee bit wet! But it was fun... and then we literally had to run to our train too... ay ay ay I don't think I have ran that much in years...lol!

My last day (or the few hours I had before heading back to the airport) were pretty mellow. Carla took me to the beach (North Sea). Although the weather was very dreary, it was truly beautiful.
The beach had soooooooooooo many seashells! All different colours:) I don't think I have ever been to a beach with so many and I know my kids would have loved filling their pails with them:)

Then we did a bit of last minute shopping in this quaint little village. There were a couple of really cute shops and I could not resist a few fun purchases before heading out.So there you have it. My epic post about my fabulous week in the Netherlands. I am the luckiest gal in the world to be able to do what I do. Not too many people get to live their dream. And what made this trip extra special is the company. Not only did I have a great time learning about a new country and meeting new people but a solid friendship was formed. THANK YOU Carla for a wonderful week:) You were the hostess with the mostess as my grandmother would say. I appreciate the opportunity to have been able to come and teach several classes to you and your customers and with any luck, perhaps I can return again some day! Now hurry up and book that flight here to Canada so I can try to reciprocate some of your hospitality because you went above and beyond:) Thanks again girlie!!!

So what is next? Assuming you actually made it through this entire post, I am now about to prep for Saskatoon! YUP! May not be quite as glamorous as Amsterdam but it is GUARANTEED to be a good time! A little bit of Canadiana is a darn good thing!!! I LOVE heading to Just Scrap It:) Ralna and Deb rock and are always so much fun! Their staff are wonderful and we always have a blast in class:) I hope to see many of you gals there on the 19 &20 of June.

Okay... this post has taken waaaaaaaaaaaaaay toooo much time to compose so I really do have to run! Be sure to check back soon as I am working on a few new projects:) Lots of new goodies are going to be coming your way!

OH YEAH! My Trinkets and Treasures class is running tomorrow (Tuesday) night at Scrapbook Memories and More in Sherwood Park. It features a tonne of Graphic 45 and a few other goodies not to be missed. It is full of pockets, flaps, nooks and crannies for all of your trinkets and tresures. You are sure to love it so call (780)449-0603 to register today!

One amazing trip finished and I am about to embark on another!

A L A S K A... simply breathtaking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just returned from an amazing week aboard the Princess Star which set sail from Seattle and headed for 3 different ports in Alaska and finished off in Victoria before heading back to Washington. It was a different sort of atmosphere aboard this ship than the cruise I did in February to the Caribbean. I guess it was because of where we were going. Everything was very quiet aboard this vessel so we took it upon ourselves to create our own fun:) That is not saying that there were not fun things on the ship... that is not the case at all! It was just very mellow (everything was quiet after 9pm!!!). Oh well, I was honoured to have been given the opportunity to be a part of the Northridge Media Team (Scrapbook Trends, Cards, Simply Handmade and Beads Magazines) and look forward to working with these guys again.

So not only am I the luckiest gal in the world to be able to travel the globe and teach... but get a look at my team this time around.
Awesome bit of eye candy, eh! David from Northridge Media was one of the handsome men who invited me along to be a part of their teaching team on the Alaskan cruise. Could I seriously turn down that offer... uh... I think NOT! This guy provided some serious good times! the ladies were swooning over his charming ways and he was such a help. I nick named him the King of Distress as that boy could work some sanding block magic! Anything that needed roughed up a bit, I turned over to Mr. Dave used some of his braun and he made it look like a masterpiece:) Actually, he just scuffed it but it sounds sooooooo much better the other way...lol!

And then there was Jody... what can I say... I am a lucky gal to have such a great friend like him:) We have worked together for more than a year and a half and I was impressed with all that I learned about him during this trip. Most guys in this industry don`t actually walk the talk, know what I mean. Well, Jody does! YUP! Not only is he passionate about his job, but he has no qualms about sharing his stories with us to inspire us to continue doing the scrapbooking that we do... continue to get the stories down so that future generations can enjoy our efforts. I think his little speech in our class made a lot of girls hearts melt;) And I for one was honoured to be a part of this event with him:) Thanks Jody for bringing me along, I had a blast and I can`t wait to do it again... you rock:)
Then there was Becky. WOW!!! What a wild girl she turned out to be! I knew from our very first emails that we would hit it off but I had no idea she would catch me off guard and cause me to bust a gut laughing to the point I was crying!!! Thanks for such a great week Becky!
So that was the WORK stuff... then there was the play. And PLAY we did!!! Yup... we played shuffleboard, danced in the nightclub scrapped in the lobby and one of the best things was sitting out by the pool watching a movie on the movie screen under the stars. We would gather a few wool blankets and bundle up in the cool Alaskan air and watch a movie on occasion. Twilight is sooooooooooo much better of a movie under the stars!!!

Here we are after one of our formal dinners on the ship gearing up for a bit of a show. Lovely way to spend an evening!!! OH! And that cutie second from the right... a fellow Canuck I met from Vancouver, Carole, who was a BLAST! I loved her and can`t wait to see her again soon:) We had plenty of fun on board and I am sure we could cause some serious trouble together under different circumstances;)
Here are a couple of my favourite shots of us (carole and I)... so cool when you meet someone with whom you just CLICK!

So now for some of the things we saw and did... first port was Ketchikan... AMAZING! Loved this quaint little town Saw some pretty cool things (like the marina below) and wildlife.

Then there were some pretty cool buildings and stuff too:)

Jody was all about the Eagles so we were all pretty lucky when on his quest to see some, we all managed to get up close and personal with such an amazing creature!

Then there was this beautiful owl. It was so tiny. I always thought they would be larger but not this kind. Simply adorable!

The we hit Juneau. Funky little town too. Becky and I had enough of the slow moving crowds so we hired a private Taxi to take us to the glacier that is a must see while there. BEAUTIFUL and so much more enjoyable when not surrounded by hundreds of other tourists. We timed it jsut right as we were leaving just as the tour busses were arriving!

We also visited Skagway which was a fun town. I had a great time trying on a $58,000.00 ring!!! And better yet, had a great time dickering with the guy getting him down to 10G and walking away!!! LOL! I am soooooooooooo bad!

But by far, my favourite part... VICTORIA! Yup, my dear freind Trena (we have been buds since 7th grade) came and picked us up and took us to see the sights and for dinner. A friends from back in the day (Jennifer) also joined us. Super cool to see her afterall these years and she is a scrapper too!
I love this girl! Thanks Treenie for making my trip! Can`t wait to see you again soon! xoxoxo

So there you have it... a quick (NOT) recap of my Alaskan adventure:) A huge thank you to Oh My Crafts who put together a phenomenal event and I am so grateful to have been able to come along as one of the instructors and look forward to doing it again this fall (October 3-10)... this one sets sail out of NYC ( my DREAM destination!!!). I cannot wait! Stay tuned for further details:)

An extra special thank you also gos out to all of our class sponsors! Without you, these classes would have been a whole lot of nothing and I know all the participants LOVED all the goodies you provided for our classes! Thanks to Graphic 45, Tattered Angels, Riff Raff Designs, Hambly, Beacon Adhesives, Making Memories, My Mind`s Eye, American Crafts, Acme United (Westcott), Prima, Vintaj, Fiskars and Quick Quotes and the list goes on and on! I know all the participants LOVED all of the goodies you provided to make these classes super cool. Thanks again and know that we all appreciate your generosity!!! With that... I will leave you with this beautiful Alaskan Sunset pic. GORGEOUS!!!!
So GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!! I leave for the Netherlands tomorrow (wednesday!) YAY!!!!!!!!!! I am sooooooooo excited about this one! I am travelling to Amsterdam to teach for my friend Carla who owns Simpel Scrappen. She is an amazing gal who I met about 1.5 years ago at CHA. I am looking forward to sharing 5 different projects with those girls over there! We are sure to have a blast and I cannot wait to get that party started! I have my bags just about packed and I will be topping them up with as many different prizes as I can squeeze in the remaining nooks and crannies:) I have heard amazing things about Holand and cannot wait to see it with my own eyes. For those of you in my classes... prepare for a great ti e and I look forward to meeti ng you all!!!!!!!!

Kay folks... I REALLY have to run! so much yet to do to get ready!!! Talk to you when I get back:)

Before I head off again...........

I want to share a few things...

1) Do not forget to check out the Tattered Angels Blog each Monday as there will be some pretty cool projects posted this month in conjunction with our pairing up with Cosmo Cricket. Totally cool stuff!!! Yo will not be disappointed!

2) I dropped off several different class kits at Scrapbook Memoreis and More in Sherwood Park and Treasured Memories in Edmonton. They both have different kits, complete with all of the coloured instructions you need to finish the project. Be sure to pop by both stores and check out what is there... surely you will find something you like:)

3) GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM GOING ON A BOAT! Yup... I leave in less than 48 hours on a plane to Seattle where I will meet up with Jody, Dave and Becky from Northridge Media (Scrapbook Trends Magazine) and we will set sail aboard the Princess Star Cruise Ship and head for Alaska. While on board, our team is teaching several different classes and I am pretty impressed with how it has all come together! Here is a cover shot of the album I designed for one of the classes:

It features amazing products by Tattered Angels, Graphic 45, American Crafts, Fiskars, and Making Memories (just to name a few!).

The other classes I am teaching also include yummy products by Riff Raff Designs, Vintaj, My Mind`s Eye, Prima, Hambly, Sakura, Quick Quotes, Acme United (Westcott) and Beacon.

Again, the sponsors have blown our minds with their generosity and I am sure everyone will be thrilled with their projects and all the goodies that they get to use and go home with!!! Thanks to everyone that helped us out:)

I do not know a lot about Alaska and have never been and unforunately, I have not had the time to really research where we are goign and what we will do. I think we will just wing it and go with the flow... that is usually the best way to go anyways. Who wants a schedule when you are on holidays!!! I will definitely post pics when I return though. One thing we are all in agreement on though is going on a zipline... apparently where we are going, they have the greatest one. hmmmmmmm... not exactly sure what ziplining is... I have a good idea but I don`t think I want to know until I am there and cannot back out!!! LOL!!! The ports include Jumeau, Ketchikan and Skagway. On our return to Seattle, we stop in Victoria. I am sooooooo excited about this as I plan on hooking up with some old friends:) SHould be a wonderful way to wrap up what is sure to be a fabulous week:)

I return home Sunday... but no time to wind down there as I have to work like mad to prep for the Netherlands. I only have two full days as I leave Wedenesday morning very early!!! Just enough time to wash clothes and put them back in the suitcase, stock up on the groceries for my family and take care of any last minute details. While in the Netherlands, I am teaching at Simpel Scrappen. I will be doing a total of 7 classes in 3 days:) They are bursting full of goodies from My Mind`s Eye, Tattered Angels, Riff Raff Designs, Vintaj, Graphic 45, Prima... the usual companies I am honoured to be an endorsed eduacator for:) The cool thinng is that I can show all of my students a nice variety of goodies and how well they can work together:) I will be slightly hectic but Carla (the store owner) is a gem and I look forward to hangning out with her at night... chillaxing! Monday and Tuesday we will head into Amsterdam to see the sights before I head home late Tuesday:) Surely we will have a terrific time and I am thankful to have this opportunity. I hope the ladies enjoy and I look forward to meeting everyone in Holland!

Alright... so, I have to run for now... crazy day ahead! I only have 6 hours to get a tonne of stuff done. I will try to do an update soon... but it may not happen till after the cruise...w e iwll see!

Happy Scrapping:)
